Sheng Nan Wu, CPA, CMA
Sheng is responsible for planning and executing financial statement audits, reviews and compilations for privately-held companies, including: publishers, manufacturing & distribution companies, and professional service firms. Additionally, she provides customized advisory solutions, including: audit preparation, and quarterly guidance on accounting for transactions so clients are able to eliminate unnecessary adjustments, and ensure a smooth and efficient audit. Sheng provides investigative due diligence testing to support client decision making related to acquisitions and divestitures. She also has extensive experience with the preparation and filing of partnership and corporate income tax returns, and personal tax returns for high-net-worth individuals.
Sheng leads experienced engagement teams, and consistently delivers a non-intrusive, efficient client experience. She communicates proactively with clients to ensure: they anticipate key considerations, deliverables and milestones for the audit process; their expectations are met; and the value clients receive from their investment is optimized.
She is an active member of AAF’s Commercial Accounting & Assurance committee, dedicated to keeping clients apprised of how relevant standards changes and emerging best practices may impact operations and financial statements. She is a mentor, career coach, and an in-house trainer on commercial assurance solutions, supporting AAFCPAs’ motivated, professional workforce in supplementing their technical competencies and anticipating the ongoing and evolving needs of our clients. She is also an active member of AAF’s Women’s Opportunity Network. Sheng is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). She speaks English and Chinese Mandarin.
