Michael Oliveira Kindness Award
AAFCPAs introduced the Michael Oliveira Kindness Award in 2021 in memorial to a remarkable colleague and outstanding young man who positively impacted everyone around him. The annual recipient exemplifies Michael’s traits of unconditional care and concern for others and selfless kindness.
Emerging Leader Award
The Emerging Leader Award is given annually to an AAFCPAs team member who has demonstrated remarkable accomplishments at the firm. This person has demonstrated leadership qualities in areas of client service, technical competency, communication, strategic thinking, recruitment, developing others, inclusion, and/or innovation!
The Innovation Award is given to an AAFCPAs team member who has been proactive in identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation and has taken the lead in at least one project in their practice area or department to improve processes or workflow or developed an innovative program that benefits the firm in some way.
Growth Mindset Award
The Growth Mindset Award is given to a team member who seeks collaborators, embraces challenges, and proactively seeks opportunities to learn, grow, and improve. This person demonstrates a commitment to support the firm’s strategic pillars of people, culture, and profitable growth. This person is an innovator and risk taker!
All team members are empowered to recognize and reward their peers by issuing our Accolade Program, which allows all team members to recognize a peer’s performance that goes well beyond the expectations of the role the person performs for the firm. These on-the-spot rewards are recognized publicly and convert to Amazon Gift Cards.
Joel Aronson Character Award
The prestigious Joel Aronson Character Award is given annually to the AAFCPAs team member, nominated by the partner group, who best epitomizes the honorable character, work ethic, and client dedication of Joel Aronson, the Founder of AAF Wealth Management. Joel retired from the firm at the end of 2019 and with this prestigious award, we encourage the passing of the torch of Joel Aronson’s legacy of caring and selflessness.
