Richard Weiner, CPA, MST
Rich has over 35 years of broad tax experience with a specialty in tax planning and consulting for private and publicly held national and multi-national businesses. He has expertise advising Software, Biotechnology, Medical Device, Life Science, Manufacturing, Retail, Professional Service, and Publishing industries.
Rich works extensively with European companies expanding into the U.S. market. This includes guidance on tax efficient business entity structuring of US operations, certification of tax residency, and compliance with applicable US, multi-state, and international tax codes.
Rich is also a leader in AAFCPAs’ Business Transaction Advisory Services practice, and has worked closely with numerous clients in both buy- and sell-side transactions. He advises business owners and stockholders in transition, including structuring of and planning for Mergers & Acquisitions, planning for changes in ownership and management, and adoption of tax methodologies with a view toward the long term.
