Kevin Quinn, CPA
Kevin is responsible for planning and executing financial audits for sophisticated nonprofit organizations, including community development corporations (CDCs) and their affordable housing development projects, community development financial institutions (CDFIs), multiservice human & social service providers and early education & care providers.
Kevin is a leader in AAFCPAs’ Community & Economic Development practice and remains current with his deep knowledge of relevant tax credits, including new markets tax credits, low-income housing tax credits, and renewable energy tax credits. He is an active member of the firm’s internal Affordable Housing Committee, contributing to discussions regarding federal and state regulations, assessing financial risks unique to the industry, and optimizing various types of debt financing programs.
Kevin has extensive experience leading audits in accordance with Uniform Guidance/Single Audit and Government Auditing Standards, FASB and GASB requirements, as well as those with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Massachusetts Uniform Financial Statement (UFR) filing requirements. He also has extensive experience providing guidance to nonprofit clients on the preparation and filing of their Federal Forms 990 to ensure sound governance is demonstrated to donors and the public.
