Charlie specializes in providing assurance solutions to sophisticated nonprofit organizations, including: community health centers, home health agencies, nursing homes & senior care living organizations.  Charlie also has substantial experience providing assurance solutions to Massachusetts charter schools and has conducted trainings to charter school and community health center industry groups, including the Massachusetts Charter Public School Association and the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers.  Charlie excels in audits in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, Uniform Guidance/Single Audit and Government Auditing Standards.
Dan leads high-energy engagement teams in providing assurance solutions to clients across a wide variety of privately-held, commercial industries, including: Construction, Cannabis, Manufacturing & Distribution, Professional Services, Architecture & Engineering, and Insurance. Julie Chevalier, CPA
Julie is a hands-on leader of AAFCPAs’ tax team. She is responsible for ensuring that clients minimize tax obligations with cutting-edge solutions based upon proven effective and reliable tax expertise.  Her skills are concentrated on state and local taxation (SALT), including: income, franchise, property, payroll and sales and use taxes. She delivers compliance, tax consulting and tax planning solutions for individuals and privately-held businesses in a variety of industries, including: retail, professional services, technology, software, publishing, manufacturing and nonprofit entities. Matthew Boyle
Matthew Boyle brings strategic business insight to the AAFCPAs Partner team.  As the firm’s Chief Marketing Officer, he is the leader of the brand and focuses on AAFCPAs’ client experience, ensuring the authenticity of the value proposition across all practice areas.  Matthew joined AAFCPAs in 2013 and has 20 years of diverse experience in public accounting and professional services consulting.  He closely monitors the needs of AAFCPAs’ client base, and continuously studies trends on the changing role of the CFO to ensure the firm fulfills its promise to provide the highest quality assurance, tax, and consulting solutions to buyers who appreciate exceptional value.
Matt co-leads the firm’s community and economic development practice, serving community development corporations (CDCs), community development finance institutions (CDFIs), affordable housing and mixed-use real estate projects. He also has extensive experience serving multiservice human & social service providers. Matt advises clients on the accounting and reporting issues specific to the real estate industry. This includes guidance on existing and emerging accounting standards (revenue recognition, leases, and CECL), internal controls and fraud risk management, as well as guidance on investing, financing, and business combinations.
