New Directors and Managers
Angelina Lu, MSA, CPA. Now Director in AAFCPAs’ Commercial Audit Practice, Angie provides assurance and consulting solutions to privately held businesses, including manufacturers, distributors, retailers, professional service firms, and biotech and fintech companies. She provides insight to start-ups, including private equity and venture backed companies, on policies, procedures, and best practices in internal controls and risk management along with efficient scaling through growth. As a CPA with an international background, Angie advises international clients on unique complexities related to cross-border operations including foreign currency translation, intercompany consolidation, accounting for variable interest entities (VIE), and joint ventures. She is versed in various technical accounting issues, such as business combination, accounting for complex equity, and debt instruments. Fun Fact: Angie is also a performer and member of the Board of Directors of New England Center for Circus Arts.

Kevin Quinn
Kevin Quinn, CPA. Now Director in AAFCPAs’ Community Impact Human Services Practice, Kevin brings his extensive expertise to advising and overseeing the financial audit process for sophisticated nonprofit organizations. His portfolio includes community development corporations (CDCs) and their affordable housing development projects, community development financial institutions (CDFIs), multiservice human and social service providers, and early education and care providers. His leadership ensures that our clients receive the highest level of assurance and compliance, reflecting our commitment to excellence in serving the nonprofit sector. When he’s not assisting clients, he enjoys time with his wife, daughter, and dog. He also enjoys hitting the slopes in winter and the golf course in summer.
Chris Consoletti, Esq. Now Director, Chris is a consulting tax attorney focusing primarily on supporting the needs of tax-exempt organizations. He brings expertise in private foundations, lobbying regulations, multi-state filing and registration requirements, Unrelated Business Income Tax (UBIT), charitable solicitation regulations, IRS Form 990 best practice presentation and disclosure requirements along with organizational formations and dissolutions. He also provides effective tax planning and research, tax compliance, charitable planning, and asset protection solutions for trusts and estates. Fun fact: Chris is an avid hockey fan and still plays once a week. His high school had more than 20 players make it to the NHL; he was not one of them.

Kevin P. Hodson
Kevin P. Hodson, CMT, CAIA, AIF®. Now Director of Investments at AAF Wealth Management, Kevin provides comprehensive solutions for high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and not-for-profit organizations. Kevin has a long history of advising clients with significant wealth and managing conventional as well as complex alternative investment strategies. He brings 23 years of experience in financial services as well as six years of service as an active-duty officer in the United States Marine Corps. Kevin lives in Marlborough, MA with his wife, two children and Olde English Bulldogge, Harley.
Chris Bango. Now Manager, Chris has extensive experience providing audit and consulting solutions for a diverse range of nonprofits including Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), skilled nursing facilities, and multi-service human and social services providers. He works to ensure clients feel confident in their compliance of all applicable standards, including Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), Government Auditing Standards, Uniform Guidance/Single Audit requirements, and state-specific regulations, such as the Massachusetts Uniform Financial Report (UFR). When he’s not at the office, Chris might be found golfing or on hikes with his adventurous beagle.

Joseph D. Santese III
Joseph D. Santese III, MBA. Now Manager in AAFCPAs’ Audit team, Joseph leads financial statement audits for nonprofits, including CDCs, CDFIs, and multi-service human and social services providers. He offers solutions for clients that need to achieve single audit and Uniform Guidance compliance audit requirements and addresses state filings like the Massachusetts UFR. Joseph provides expertise in audits involving state and federal funding and HUD Housing programs, assisting with cost certifications and 50% and 95-5 tests related to development properties. Active in the firm’s Accounting and Assurance Committee, he also conducts internal training and mentors junior staff. Based in Westborough, Massachusetts, Joseph is an active long-distance runner and participates in 5Ks throughout the year.
Emily Levine. Now Senior Investment Manager at AAF Wealth Management, Emily provides operations and technology support while working closely with internal partners, including wealth advisors, to provide holistic financial planning and investment management solutions. As a member of the Investment Committee, Emily participates in the firm’s regular and thoughtful process of investment selection, monitoring, and portfolio implementation. Emily focuses on maximizing returns while minimizing risks. She joined AAF Wealth Management in 2018 with more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. In her free time, she enjoys cheering on her kids at basketball and lacrosse games. As a family, they love supporting the Florida State Seminoles. Fun fact—she’s also an excellent hula hooper!
New Consulting CFOs and Controllers
Ashleigh Marks
Ashleigh Marks, CPA . Now CFO, Ashleigh is a member of AAFCPAs’ Outsourced Accounting & Fractional CFO practice, providing outsourced, cloud-based finance and accounting support for emerging, growth-stage, and mature technology companies. As a key member of the finance function, Ashleigh manages support staff and oversees processing of AR/AP, check disbursements, and the reconciliation process to the general ledger. She assists in the creation of annual budgets and monitors cash flow and burn rates. She also reviews and approves preparation and finalization of monthly and annual financial reporting materials and benchmarking metrics for executive management and investors, which assists in strategic decision making. Outside of the office, Ashleigh serves as the Boys & Girls Track and Field (hurdles) coach at Lexington High School. She is a former Division I Track and Field athlete.
Lauren Turner, MSA. Now CFO, Lauren is a member of AAFCPAs’ Outsourced Accounting & Fractional CFO practice, providing outsourced, cloud-based finance and accounting support for nonprofits and privately held companies. Lauren provides strategic financial and operational consulting solutions and oversees financial procedures and internal and external team members as appropriate to ensure a smooth execution of the finance function. Lauren addresses clients’ most critical financial concerns including budget development, cash flow management, financial forecasting and projection, monthly closing procedures, and monthly financial statements. Lauren is a past winner of AAFCPAs’ peer-nominated Excellence in Client Service award and has been serving clients with distinction since 2004.

Kathleen Caputo, CPA. Now Controller, Kathleen is a member of AAFCPAs’ Outsourced Accounting & Fractional CFO (OAFC) practice, providing accounting infrastructure set-up and high-quality, cloud-based accounting services for nonprofit and commercial clients. She oversees the execution of accounting services, manages deliverables that require higher-level expertise, and relieves clients of the burden of day-to-day transactional activities. Kathleen collaborates with new clients to right-size people, processes, and systems to modernize their finance function and to address evolving needs as the organization scales.
Andrew McNemar. Now Controller, Andrew is a member of AAFCPAs’ Outsourced Accounting & Fractional CFO practice, providing accounting infrastructure set-up and high-quality, cloud-based accounting services for nonprofits and commercial businesses. Andrew has extensive experience serving cannabis businesses including cultivators, distributors, dispensaries, retailers, and other commercial enterprises. He provides accounting support with efficient processes and procedures, relieving clients of the burden of day-to-day financial activities. He simplifies the set-up process, providing guidance to clients in setting up cloud solutions, designing custom charts of accounts, setting up customers and vendors for accurate sales and expense reporting, connecting to bank and credit card accounts, and implementing client information for professional looking output forms.

Ryan Wolff has been promoted to supervisor in BITC, offering extensive expertise in analytics, robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI) prompting, and natural language processing policy and research.
