UFR Insights: AAFCPAs Presents Webinar for Providers’ Council

AAFCPAs’ Human & Social Services practice leaders Katie Belanger, CPA and Thomas Perruna, MPAc have been invited to present on August 30, 2023 at 10 AM on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Uniform Financial Statement (UFR) during an educational member’s only webinar hosted by the Providers’ Council. In this one-hour webinar, attendees will be guided through UFR preparation and will learn how to navigate and mitigate common reporting errors in the filing. The session will cover its structure and requirements, Schedule B program definitions and types, specific program requirements, and proper reporting of contributions in various programs.

Speakers will provide insights into obsolete UFR lines and sections to ensure your financial statements are accurate and up to date. They will also discuss ways for avoiding common UFR errors, specific line items, correlation of client revenue lines with program statistics, the handling of COVID funding impacts, capital budget assets, FTEs, blue flags, salary limits, allocation of administration expenses, required supplemental schedules, VendorWeb data, and listing of federal funds including contract numbers along with MMARS and object codes.
