AAFCPAs is pleased to announce that Richard Weiner, CPA, MST, Tax Partner has earned the Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor® (CM&AA) designation issued by the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors. Certification is granted following the successful completion of coursework and is only maintained through mandatory continuing professional education (CPE) and development activities.

Achievement of this CM&AA designation signifies Rich’s proficiency in the middle-market merger and acquisition (M&A) ecosystem along with the M&A process—from deal origination to due diligence, financial modeling, business valuation, deal structuring, negotiation, and transaction closing. It also recognizes his command of the buy-side and sell-side M&A process, financing strategies for growth and acquisition, M&A valuation approaches and methodologies, tax issues and laws, legal structures and strategies, operating frameworks for creating shareholder value, and preparation of privately held companies for liquidity.

Rich has had a distinguished career advising corporate clients, helping to streamline operations, minimize tax, and ensure regulatory compliance.
