AAFCPAs Partner James Jumes to present at the IAPA International European Conference in Vienna on SOC Reporting

ServicesJames Jumes practice, will present an educational workshop for the benefit of CPAs at the IAPA European Conference scheduled for June 4th, 2016 in Vienna, Austria.  This technical forum is part of the IAPA Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Conference for IAPA member firms. IAPA is a global association of independent CPA and business advisory firms who provide accounting, audit, tax advisory and business consultancy services.
James will provide guidance for other independent accountancy and business advisory firms on Service Organization Controls and ISAE 3402 reporting, which are assurance reports on controls at a service organization.  James will help IAPA member firms navigate this emerging assurance area for their clients who outsource services, and outline the key factors to consider when evaluating the effect of the controls at the service organization on the user entities’ financial statements.
James is highly experienced in IT controls and assurance, SOX 404, and  SOC reports: SOC 1 (SSAE 18), SOC 2, SOC 2+ and 3 attestation reporting.  James developed a unique methodology to delivering SOC reporting services, and he is an AICPA-approved Peer Review SOC Specialist, assisting peer review teams to review SOC 1, 2, 2+ and 3 engagements.
