Ronald C. Lipof, Partner, brings more than 30 years of experience advising start-up, emerging growth, middle-market, and pre-IPO companies across highly regulated and emerging industries nationwide. He provides strategic guidance on mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and organizational growth, working closely with AAFCPAs’ tax, assurance, advisory, outsourced accounting, and wealth management teams to align transactions with broader financial, succession, and governance objectives. Ron is recognized for his extensive experience in business lifecycle management—from formation and business development through exit. He collaborates with entrepreneurs and management teams nationwide to develop business plans, model financial outcomes, structure deals, build strategic alliances, and coordinate due diligence. Ron is also a recognized leader in the firm’s Cannabis practice, helping clients navigate licensing, compliance, deal structuring, and post-transaction integration. He works with operators to navigate the complex application and licensing processes, remain compliant with evolving regulations, and establish foundational business practices. In 2009, Ron co-founded Cancer Awareness Day with the Boston Red Sox in partnership with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, which engages hundreds of families affected by childhood cancer and raises awareness in the community.

Emily’s experience overseeing financial reporting and integrations for more than 140 acquisitions equips her to provide practical, actionable insight that aligns with clients’ goals. Emily began her career at AAFCPAs, highly regarded by clients, developing foundational expertise and strong leadership capabilities.
