AAFCPAs Earns Certified B Corporation™ Status, Joining a Global Standard for Responsible Business
AAFCPAs is pleased to share it has earned Certified B Corporation™ status, an internationally recognized designation awarded to select qualifying businesses that meet rigorous, independently verified standards for social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. The certification reflects how the firm operates day to day, from governance and decision-making to how it supports its team members and engages with clients and communities.
Great Hearts | Great Minds has long served as a guiding principle rather than a slogan. It captures the balance between technical rigor and human judgment that defines the firm’s work.

What B Corp Certification Represents
As a Certified B Corporation, AAFCPAs is part of a global community of mission-driven organizations committed to building an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy. Unlike other business certifications, B Lab evaluates a company’s entire social and environmental impact, providing a comprehensive and independent measure of performance, accountability, and transparency.
In a profession built on credibility, Certified B Corporation status provides clients with greater insight into how AAFCPAs governs its firm, supports its people, and engages with the communities it serves. The designation reflects a shared understanding of long-term success—one grounded in responsibility, sustainability, and strong performance.
For team members, certification reinforces a workplace culture that prioritizes well-being, professional growth, and meaningful participation. For the communities we serve, it signals an ongoing commitment to social and environmental responsibility, with impact extending beyond our firm.
B Corp certification affirms that AAFCPAs is accountable not only to shareholders, but to all stakeholders—clients, team members, communities, and the broader economy.
About B Corporation Standards
Certified B Corporations meet independently verified standards for social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability, established by the nonprofit B Lab Global. The B Corp framework evaluates the entire business, not a product, solution, or line of work. It measures how an organization governs itself, supports its team members, serves customers, contributes to its community, and manages its environmental responsibilities.
The certification process is comprehensive and evidence-based. As part of the assessment, AAFCPAs documented policies, practices, and outcomes across five key impact areas: governance, workers, customers, community, and the environment. These results were then independently reviewed and verified by a third-party ESG auditor.
The standard is applied consistently across industries and geographies, creating a shared definition of responsible business performance. Certification must be renewed every three years, ensuring continued accountability as standards evolve to address increasingly complex global challenges. Through this ongoing process, AAFCPAs remains committed to demonstrating what good business looks like—today and into the future.
For AAFCPAs, Certified B Corporation status reflects disciplined decision-making and formal accountability. It affirms a commitment to operate with transparency, consider the interests of all stakeholders, and hold the firm to clear standards over time. This is one of the few certifications focused not on what a firm delivers, but on how it conducts business every day.
