AAFCPAs to Speak at NECANN NJ

AAFCPAs’ Cannabis Practice leaders Dave McManus, CPA, CGMA and Janice O’Reilly, CPA, CGMA have been invited to speak at the 2023 New Jersey Cannabis Convention being held September 8-9 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. The two will take the stage on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:20 PM to present “What New Operators Need to Know that Those in Mature Markets had to Figure out the Hard Way”. Now in its fourth year, NECANN’s New Jersey Cannabis Convention is continually growing in attendance as local markets develop.

This informative and educational session will explore advantages for new market entrants along with the invaluable lessons they can learn from the trials and growing pains experienced by operators in mature markets like Massachusetts, where cannabis was legalized statewide in 2012. In this session, AAFCPAs provides operators with information on ways to bypass some of the most common market entry hurdles. An audience of license holders, suppliers, medical dispensaries, investors, cultivators, and entrepreneurs will leave with a greater understanding about where they should focus their time and financial investment to avert risk and optimize profitability.

Concurrently, AAFCPAs is pleased to sponsor the upcoming 2023 Annual Cannabis Buy/Sell Networking Summit on September 7, 2023. Presented by Prince Lobel, the exclusive invite-only matchmaking event will host cannabis license and business buyers and sellers.
