As a mentor, Carla was asked by the BBJ: How are you mentoring differently during this time of the pandemic?

“I am being intentional about my outreach knowing many are struggling,” said McCall. “I am having more frequent meetings via video with specific questions regarding stress and balance.”

Late in 2010, McCall was named co-managing partner of AAFCPAs, and in 2020 she assumed full responsibility as Managing Partner. She is recognized often in the financial community for her dynamic executive leadership, bold practicality, and enthusiasm to embrace change, most recently, as one of 2020’s Most Powerful Women in the Accounting Profession by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and CPA Practice Advisor magazine.

McCall is the founder of AAFCPAs’ Women’s Opportunity Network (WON), which serves as a platform to discuss challenges for women in the workplace, and a forum to educate, inform, and identify solutions. She is honored to pave the way for future women leaders and is fully committed to women’s issue and balancing work and family to improve the quality of life for all involved.
