AICPA Names AAFCPAs’ Carla McCall One of the Most Powerful Women in Accounting
Boston, MA (November 11, 2020) – AAFCPAs today announced that Carla McCall, CPA, CGMA, Managing Partner, was named one of 2020’s Most Powerful Women in the Accounting Profession by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and CPA Practice Advisor magazine.
The annual award recognizes 25 women leaders helping to define and advance the accounting profession. In addition to helping drive innovation and growth at their own organizations, recipients are also selected based on how effectively they represent the accounting profession through civic and community outreach.
“Community service is one of AAFCPAs’ core values, and we are a company that is built on empathy and understanding,” said McCall, who also serves on the Board of the AICPA. “We stand by one another, whether that means volunteering time in our local community, working with nonprofits, or ensuring our team has our full support regardless of race, gender, or ethnicity.”
A best-in-class CPA and consulting firm known for assurance, tax, accounting, wealth management, valuation, business process, and IT advisory solutions, AAFCPAs’ women leadership is a fundamental element of its success.
“I am honored to be recognized by AICPA alongside these other amazing women,” said McCall. “It sends a strong message that we can have a profound impact on the community: we can lead by example and set a high bar for those around us.”
