The Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors is an international organization focused on advancing education, collaboration, and professional standards within the middle-market M&A community. With members across 25 countries, the organization supports professionals engaged in domestic, international, and cross-border transactions through structured knowledge-sharing and peer engagement.

A leader in AAFCPAs’ Business Transaction Advisory practice, Rich works closely with business owners, stockholders, management, and their deal teams in both buy-side and sell-side engagements. His experience spans the full transaction lifecycle including due diligence, financial modeling, valuation considerations, deal structuring, negotiation, and closing. As a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor® (CM&AA), he advises organizations on ownership transition planning and long-term tax methodologies designed to support sustainable growth.

Rich brings more than 35 years of experience advising privately held and publicly traded national and multinational businesses. His work integrates tax planning with transaction strategy, helping companies align entity structure, timing of income and deductions, and tax credit opportunities with broader operational and ownership objectives. His work with multi-national companies includes expansion into the United States, guidance on tax-efficient entity structuring, certification of tax residency, and compliance with U.S., multi-state, and international tax requirements. His cross-border experience aligns with AM&AA’s global network and commitment to elevating standards across the transaction advisory profession.
