Boston, MA (June 5, 2025)—AAFCPAs, a U.S. Top 100 CPA and consulting firm with a work from anywhere model, is pleased to announce the expansion of its team to support the continuing growth and diverse needs of our sophisticated clients. As part of this, the firm welcomes Lucy LeBlond as Campus and Talent Management Specialist, and Andrea Crowell as Consulting Controller. We also welcome Laura Ilsley, Hannah Yarbrough, MBA, Stefani Franklin, and Parth Patel as experienced in-charge accountants.
Lucy LeBlond
Lucy joins AAFCPAs as Campus and Talent Management Specialist, where she guides accounting students as they transition from academia to their professional careers. She provides insight into launching their professional journeys, helping rising college seniors explore internships, entry-level opportunities, and the many diverse career paths available within the firm. Through her outreach, students and recent graduates gain exposure to a range of industries—from cannabis to technology, education, and affordable housing—as well as diverse fields including financial statement audit, corporate and individual tax, outsourced accounting, wealth management, operations, analytics, business process, and IT consulting.
Lucy earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Finance from the University of Delaware. She lives in Ashland, Massachusetts, where she enjoys leisurely hikes with her chocolate lab Emmy, a well-played round of golf, and the thrill of a close Celtics game.

Andrea Crowell
Andrea joins AAFCPAs as consulting controller, bringing a wealth of experience to AAFCPAs’ Outsourced Accounting & Fractional CFO (OAFC) practice. Andrea partners with nonprofit clients to futureproof their finance functions by modernizing financial processes and strengthening infrastructure. With a focus on efficiency, strong internal controls, and accurate financial reporting, she offers guidance on the setup, migration, and integration of cloud-based accounting systems including leading solutions like QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and Intacct.
A CPA candidate, Andrea holds an MBA in Accounting from Walsh College and a B.A. in Human Resource Management from Michigan State University. When she’s not navigating the complexities of financial strategies, Andrea can be found cheering on her two daughters at their various activities.

Laura Ilsley
Laura joins AAFCPAs as a member of our Tax Practice with a dedicated focus on high-net-worth individuals and families. She provides tax planning and compliance solutions designed to help clients preserve and grow their wealth while navigating the complex considerations that often accompany significant assets.
Laura has extensive public accounting experience, having spent her career providing tax advice to individuals and small business owners. A world traveler and wife of a retired military member, she holds CPA licenses in California, Texas, and New Hampshire. She holds a BBA with a concentration in accounting from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, graduating summa cum laude. Laura is fluent in both English and Italian.

Hannah Yarbrough, MBA
Hannah joins AAFCPAs as an experienced in-charge accountant who leads financial statement audits for Community Development Corporations (CDCs) and affordable housing organizations. She works closely with clients to ensure compliance with audit requirements for both parent entities and individual housing projects including those structured as limited partnerships (LPs). Her experience includes audits of Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency (MHFA) submissions, tenant eligibility testing, and financial reporting for affordable housing developments.
Hannah holds an MBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University and a BBA in Accounting from Hardin-Simmons University. In addition, she is actively working toward CPA certification. Committed to community involvement, she regularly volunteers with Future Farmers of America (FFA), supporting student agricultural projects. When not auditing, she can often be found tending to her flock of sheep and rabbits, carefully breeding and raising them for FFA students preparing for shows.

Hannah Yarbrough
Stefani Franklin
Stefani joins AAFCPAs as an experienced in-charge accountant leading financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for privately held commercial companies including publishers and manufacturers. In addition to her commercial audit work, she applies her knowledge of the Department of Labor’s ERISA reporting and disclosure requirements to employee benefit plan audits. Partnering with plan sponsors, she helps maintain compliance, strengthen internal processes, and improve financial reporting accuracy.
Stefani graduated magna cum laude from Emmanuel College with a B.A. in Accounting and is a member of Sigma Beta Delta, the international business honor society. A continuous learner, she is pursuing her CPA designation and participates in AAFCPAs’ Dynamic Audit Solutions (DAS) Championship Team, where she helps advance the firm’s commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance audit quality, effectiveness, and client service. Outside of work, Stefani enjoys hot yoga, a chance to unwind on a long walk, traveling, and seeking out new restaurants in Boston—always in good company with friends and family.

Stefani Franklin
Parth Patel, CPA
Parth plans and manages financial statement audits and reviews for sophisticated nonprofit organizations, including multi-service human and social service agencies, private schools, charter schools, and charter management organizations (CMOs). He conducts audits in accordance with Uniform Guidance/Single Audit requirements, Government Auditing Standards, U.S. GAAP, GASB, and under regulations from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). Parth is well-versed in the application of FASB standards for nonprofit organizations and works closely with clients to ensure accurate financial disclosures and footnote reporting.
He holds a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) and a B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Outside of work, Parth enjoys biking, spending time in nature, and reading across genres—from historical fiction and mystery to nonfiction that offers new perspectives.
