Stefani Franklin

Stefani is an experienced in-charge leading financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for privately held commercial companies including publishers and manufacturers. In addition to her commercial audit work, she applies her knowledge of the Department of Labor’s ERISA reporting and disclosure requirements to employee benefit plan audits. Partnering with plan sponsors, she helps maintain compliance, strengthen internal processes, and improve financial reporting accuracy.

With a proactive approach to client engagements, Stefani delivers an efficient and minimally disruptive assurance process. She provides valuable insights to help businesses refine internal controls, manage risk, and meet compliance requirements from lenders, investors, and other stakeholders. By closely monitoring progress, she keeps deliverables on schedule while keeping clients informed at every stage. Working alongside AAFCPAs’ tax, audit, and consulting professionals, she streamlines engagements, eliminates redundancies, and enhances collaboration to reduce the burden on client teams.

Stefani graduated magna cum laude from Emmanuel College with a B.A. in Accounting and is a member of Sigma Beta Delta, the international business honor society. She looks forward to pursuing her CPA designation and participates in AAFCPAs’ Dynamic Audit Solutions (DAS) Championship Team, where she helps advance the firm’s commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance audit quality, effectiveness, and client service. Outside of work, Stefani enjoys hot yoga, a chance to unwind on a long walk, traveling, and seeking out new restaurants in Boston—always in good company with friends and family.
