Matthew Boyle, MBA, Joins AAF as Chief Marketing Officer

Alexander, Aronson, Finning, CPA’s, one of the 10 largest public accounting firms in Massachusetts, has announced the hiring of its first Chief Marketing Officer, Matthew Boyle, who arrived at the firm on May 28.
Boyle, who has worked in marketing and sales for three Fortune 500 companies – Steelcase, Compuware, and Dun & Bradstreet – most recently served as a marketing executive and partner for the Massachusetts accounting firm of Moody, Famiglietti & Andronico. He worked for that firm for nearly 10 years, and acted as the President and CMO of its affiliated Strategic Talent LLC from 2010 to 2012, a staffing company that provided temporary and permanent placement of accounting and information technology professionals.
“I landed here because AAF is serious about its commitment to growth,” said Boyle, adding that “an accounting firm that is serious about growth has to make a commitment to being the best choice among its peers for accounting, tax and business solutions in the markets it serves.” When asked about his role at the firm, Boyle stated that “buyer preferences in professional services are changing as clients seek out greater value, and my goal is to be a good listener, a great client advocate, and a proponent for constant improvement of client service.”
He noted that AAF already has a client-centered culture that seeks perpetual improvement based on feedback and input from both clients and employees, earning the firm a number of “best place to work” recognitions in the press from publications such as the Boston Business Journal. “AAF already has an outstanding culture, happy firm members make happy clients.” The part-time adjunct professor of marketing at Dean College also stated that “AAF has been somewhat of a well-kept secret in the marketplace, but the firm has a wonderful story to tell, an unsurpassed reputation in the non-profit sector, and a great platform for growth in the commercial sector.” Boyle, who has a Master’s in Business Administration degree from UMass-Boston with a concentration on marketing, added that increased attention on marketing and branding will also help AAF compete for top-notch CPA professionals. “Our clients expect the best and brightest and at AAF, there is no room for mediocrity.”
“Alexander, Aronson, Finning CPA’s is a most impressive CPA and consulting firm that authentically cares about its clients. You can expect to hear much more about the great things this firm is doing to add tremendous value to its client organizations in the near future.”
