AAF Co-President, Carla McCall, will serve as moderator of the Small Business Association of New England (SBANE) Capital Connections Series, “Capital Choices for Small Business” seminar, on December 8th at the Doubletree Westborough. What is the Capital Choices for Small Business Seminar About?
On October 1, 2010, the new Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation (MGCC) came into existence as a result of the legislative consolidation of two quasi-public finance corporations that had similar missions. The Legislature and Governor Patrick also recapitalized the MGCC with a $15 million transfer from another quasi-public corporation and approved a new $20 million bond issue for this express purpose. The MGCC will be the central clearinghouse for technical and financial assistance to small business.
SBANE has assembled a panel of four business entrepreneurs who have utilized this public bank to grow their businesses and have created a number of new jobs in the Commonwealth.
