What is the Capital Choices for Small Business Seminar About?
On October 1, 2010, the new Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation (MGCC) came into existence as a result of the legislative consolidation of two quasi-public finance corporations that had similar missions.  The Legislature and Governor Patrick also recapitalized the MGCC with a $15 million transfer from another quasi-public corporation and approved a new $20 million bond issue for this express purpose.  The MGCC will be the central clearinghouse for technical and financial assistance to small business.
SBANE has assembled a panel of four business entrepreneurs who have utilized this public bank to grow their businesses and have created a number of new jobs in the Commonwealth.
