Vassilis brings more than 30 years of experience delivering business intelligence, productivity, information risk and change management, automation, dashboarding, and cybersecurity solutions. He leads enterprise AI strategy, guiding planning and implementation across organizations while establishing governance frameworks aligned with regulatory and operational requirements. He serves as a critical resource in helping clients navigate emerging technologies, applying strategy and governance to achieve measurable business outcomes while managing associated risks.
Vassilis guides organizations through each stage of digital transformation, from building foundational AI and RPA readiness to developing enterprise strategies and scalable adoption models. His work includes assessing cultural and skills readiness, identifying high-value automation opportunities, piloting solutions, and establishing operating frameworks that support sustainable, well-governed AI and automation programs over time. He also helps clients define key business questions (KBQs) and corresponding performance indicators (KPIs), proactively monitoring operational and financial patterns to surface issues before they escalate.
As AAFCPAs’ Robotic Process Automation practice leader, Vassilis provides strategic oversight of RPA programs including design, planning, implementation, and governance. He brings deep knowledge of enterprise information systems, business logic, and structured inputs to automate repetitive processes and enhance operational efficiency. He also leads the firm’s automation center of excellence, an internal team that streamlines delivery, establishes standards, and scales automation across the organization.
In addition to automation leadership, Vassilis leads the firm’s Data Analytics and Data Visualization solutions, frequently integrating RPA to streamline data entry, integration, migration, and aggregation. His team leverages specialized skills, advanced technologies, and proven methodologies to extract, inspect, cleanse, and model data, enabling clients to uncover insights that support sound decision-making. Engagements focus on aligning key business questions (KBQs) with relevant performance indicators (KPIs) and leveraging dashboards to monitor trends and patterns proactively, helping clients address challenges before they escalate.
Vassilis directs the firm’s IT and cybersecurity solutions, including Vulnerability Management as a Service. He manages vulnerability and penetration testing, phishing assessments, system configuration reviews, IT related policies documentation, and guidance on infrastructure operations, regulatory compliance, and IT General Controls (ITGCs). He provides peace of mind for those responsible for risk management by reducing the burden of strengthening security programs, allowing clients to advance digital transformation initiatives with confidence and operational assurance. When not helping clients transform, Vassilis likes to drive and watch motorsport racing, including F1 and endurance. He is a member of the Boston Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America and an Instructor for the Chapter’s High Performance Driving School & Advanced Driving Skills School for Newly Licensed Teens. He is also a USA Swimming official. Vassilis speaks English and Greek and travels to Greece annually to visit family.
