Consulting CFO
Pamela is a Consulting CFO in AAFCPAs’ Outsourced Accounting & Fractional CFO (OAFC) practice, providing strategic financial leadership and management support for nonprofits, tenant organizations, charitable trusts, foundations, and educational organizations. She brings more than 30 years of progressive experience in accounting along with financial and operational management within small- to medium-sized organizations.
As Consulting CFO, Pamela partners with executive leadership and boards to strengthen financial planning and analysis, develop and monitor key performance indicators, and enhance management reporting for strategic decision-making. She assists clients with implementation of accounting standards, complex revenue recognition issues, grant reporting, cash flow management, budget development, audit preparation, internal control assessments, and governance support. Pamela also oversees the preparation and presentation of monthly and annual financial reporting materials and benchmarking metrics, offering insights that help organizations achieve their mission-driven goals.
Beyond this, she manages and right-sizes finance teams to ensure an efficient and scalable function. Her oversight includes transactional processing, reconciliation, grant tracking, revenue recognition, and departmental or divisional reporting. She also advises on process improvements, system implementations, and the integration of cloud-based accounting platforms to increase efficiency and transparency.
Pamela’s leadership experience includes serving as Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration for a regional business association, leading a private accounting and consulting practice, and working as an audit manager in a global public accounting firm. She is also a career coach at AAFCPAs, supporting team members in advancing their professional development, and is an active in-house trainer. Pamela earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Suffolk University’s Sawyer School of Business.
