Nichole is a leader in AAFCPAs’ Education practice, where she specializes in advising charter schools, private schools, and other education-related nonprofits. She fully understands the nuances of the education industry and its business and operational challenges, including funding opportunities and regulatory issues.
Nichole provides guidance on existing and emerging accounting standards, including evaluating impact and ensuring efficient and effective implementation. For Charter Schools specifically, she offers specialized expertise on GASB regulations as well as interpreting state-specific Charter School Audit Guides and related End of Year Reporting. She advises on requirements related to complex endowments and alternative investments.
Nichole is a key member of AAFCPAs’ COVID Task Force, assembled to help clients understand and optimize government aid, relief, and economic stimulus initiatives. She continues to advise clients on Employee Retention Credit, which includes assessing eligibility and avoiding pitfalls.

She is a former leader in AAFCPAs’ Professional Advancement & Development program and recognized for her commitment to help our team members own their careers, be challenged, remain inspired, and grow. She joined AAFCPAs in 2010 and is a 2020 recipient of the Joel Aronson Character Award, recognized for her honorable character, work ethic, and client dedication.
