Marzan John Ruaza

Marzan supports business leaders with real-time financial insight through automation, data analytics, and visual reporting. With a foundation in finance and accounting, he builds and maintains tools that streamline reporting processes, improve cash flow visibility, and provide decision-makers with timely, actionable data. His work reduces manual reporting efforts, sharpens focus on process bottlenecks, and strengthens coordination between finance and operations.

Early in his career, Marzan balanced roles on both audit and bookkeeping teams, a dual responsibility that drove him to seek more efficient ways to manage workload. This sparked a lasting passion for process improvement and technical skill development. Later roles, including at a tech startup, allowed him to refine these capabilities further. With each milestone, he has built on this foundation—continuously evolving to deliver results that matter. This includes developing Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions integrated with accounting systems to support live, cross-functional insights. He also applies automation and Excel macros to drive efficiencies across workflows such as project tracking, collections follow-up, and variance analysis. Firm leaders and project managers use these solutions to identify trends, flag risks, and accelerate response time.

Marzan is fluent in technologies commonly used in finance transformation initiatives, including Power BI, Alteryx, Oracle EBS, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Excel (macros and VBA), Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse. He connects these tools to enable more reliable, scalable workflows that can evolve alongside business priorities. His approach is grounded in continuous learning, creative problem-solving, and a strong understanding of how financial systems interact. He brings a mindset shaped by experience: as long as a challenge can be studied, it can be solved. Whether through a creative workaround or a new approach, he believes there is always a way forward—and that belief drives the systems he builds and the results they deliver.

Marzan earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Dr. Filemon C. Aguilar Memorial College of Las Pinas. He was named a Digital Warrior Champion in 2023 and is a four-time Spot Award recipient and a Willis Towers Watson 10-Year Loyalty Awardee. Outside of work, Marzan enjoys time with friends, where conversations often lead to new perspectives. He finds meaning in listening and learning from others’ experiences. He also enjoys photography and video editing, creative outlets that let him explore perspective in a different frame.
