Kayla is a member of AAFCPAs’ Outsourced Accounting & Fractional CFO (OAFC) practice, where she provides accounting and financial operations support to commercial businesses across industries including technology, life sciences, healthcare, education, and sustainability. She helps clients strengthen accounting processes, improve reporting reliability, and maintain well-organized financial records. With a focus on efficiency and accuracy, Kayla ensures clients have the clarity needed to make sound business decisions. She serves as a trusted advisor, collaborating with CFOs, controllers, and business owners to address both day-to-day accounting needs and higher-level strategic priorities such as tax readiness, audit preparedness, and financial compliance.
She is experienced in leading financial systems and platforms including QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Bill.com, Concur, and various payroll applications. This allows her to adapt seamlessly to client environments, streamline processes, and deliver timely, accurate information. Kayla holds the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation and is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor, credentials that underscore her technical expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Kayla also plays an active role in shaping the client experience through her leadership within AAFCPAs. As a senior accountant roundtable co-leader and an active member of the firm’s new hire onboarding committee, she helps cultivate a collaborative and well-prepared team environment. Most recently, Kayla was elected to AAFCPAs’ Early Professional Insights Committee (EPIC), an internal advisory group of emerging professionals who represent a cross-section of departments and disciplines within the firm to share ideas to examine processes, recommend improvements, and contribute directly to strategic decisions. These efforts translate to stronger engagement, continuity, and consistency for clients who rely on AAFCPAs for outsourced accounting support.
She earned a Master of Business Administration with honors from Bryant University, concentrating in Business Analytics, and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rhode Island College. Outside of work, Kayla is a competitive distance swimmer who enjoys hiking, dabbling in watercolor, and spending time with her beloved rescue dog.
