Janice is a strategic and collaborative finance executive, blending an entrepreneurial mindset with extensive global operating experience. A leader in AAFCPAs’ business transaction advisory and cannabis practices, she draws on experience as an angel investor, consultant, president, public and private company CFO, and treasurer to advise clients on corporate finance and operations.

Clients turn to Janice for guidance through complex transactions, from buy-side and sell-side deals to internal transitions, including support at every stage of the deal cycle. In the cannabis sector, Janice helps operators streamline operations, improve cash flow, and strengthen financial strategies. She advises on tax challenges, banking restrictions, cost-savings opportunities, and growth planning. With expertise in dispensary analytics, pricing strategies, and transactional planning, she provides data-driven insights that enhance efficiency, profitability, and long-term success.

Janice advises clients on strategic opportunities to optimize and right-size people, processes, and systems. She also brings together the right internal and external expertise on international expansion, foreign subsidiary establishment, IPOs, secondary offerings, M&A, joint ventures, capital raising, and investor relationships. Clients rely on her consulting expertise to manage solutions with regards to internal controls, SOX readiness, GAAP compliance, SEC filings, corporate governance, due diligence, regulatory compliance, compensation strategies, and the implementation of evolving accounting standards including revenue recognition and lease accounting. Her ability to scale business models—from early-stage startups to the structured cadence of public companies—is valued by organizations at every growth stage.

Previously, Janice advised and led AAFCPAs’ Outsourced Accounting & Fractional CFO practice, delivering scalable solutions from cloud-based bookkeeping to high-level CFO services.
