Brittny Novelli, CPA, MBA

Brittny is a key member of AAFCPAs’ commercial tax practice, delivering comprehensive tax compliance and planning services across federal, state, and multi-state along with international partnership and corporate engagements. She brings a strong command of complex tax matters and a thoughtful, client-focused approach to managing compliance obligations in an evolving regulatory environment.

Brittny supports companies in U.S. State and Local Taxation (SALT), including sourcing and nexus analysis, apportionment, and allocation of both tangible and service-based revenue streams. As a member of AAFCPAs’ international tax team, she also advises multi-national clients on provisions for foreign operations that include Global Intangible Low Taxed Income (GILTI) and Foreign Derived Intangible Income (FDII).

Working closely with tax leadership, Brittny examines financial records, analyzes complex data, and conducts research to evaluate tax credit feasibility and applicability. She plays an integral role in assessing compliance with current laws, regulations, and professional standards, while proactively addressing client questions and contributing to high quality, timely deliverables that support strong client relationships.

Brittny is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Fitchburg State University. She is an active member of AAFCPAs’ Women’s Opportunity Network (WON) and is committed to developing talent within the firm through the mentorship of new accounting professionals. Beyond this, she actively participates in onboarding and staff training to help benefit her clients by ensuring every member is thoroughly prepared, knowledgeable, and aligned with the firm’s standards.
