Amanda Harvie, CPA

Amanda is a Director in AAFCPAs’ Commercial Audit Practice and has extensive experience leading financial statement attestations to a diverse portfolio of privately held companies in the technology/SaaS, life sciences, and professional services industries. She works closely with clients at every stage of growth, from pre-revenue start-ups to venture-backed and private equity-owned companies navigating funding rounds and acquisition activity.

Amanda’s background in tax and audit gives her a broad perspective on financial reporting and business operations. She takes a collaborative approach with management teams and enjoys advising clients on complex technical matters such as revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, software capitalization, and merger and acquisition accounting and reporting. 

Prior to joining AAFCPAs, Amanda garnered more than a decade of experience in public accounting at regional and national firms. In addition to client-facing work, She has been an active participant in leading audit methodology, quality control and training initiatives, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high standards and fostering professional growth. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and cooking for others.
