Elisha is a Manager in the Risk Advisory practice at AAFCPAs, where she provides specialized expertise in Enterprise Risk Management, internal audits, fraud examinations, and forensic accounting. She helps clients strengthen internal controls, address risk, and enhance financial and IT processes with precision and clarity.
She is a recognized leader in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR), and IT security. She evaluates complex systems and control environments and designs and tests solutions that support both public and private companies. Her work follows widely recognized standards and frameworks, including GAAP, AICPA, PCAOB, COSO, COBIT and NIST, helping clients maintain accurate reporting and secure operations.
For fraud examinations and litigation support, Elisha conducts in-depth financial analysis. She traces transactions, uncovers hidden assets, and interprets complex financial activity to help attorneys and clients refine strategy and achieve stronger financial outcomes.
Elisha’s career includes audit and consulting roles at national and global CPA and consulting firms as well as leadership positions in corporate organizations. She has advised clients on IPO readiness, performed ICFR testing for SEC registrants, and managed deficiency remediation, bringing practical guidance rooted in real-world operations.
Elisha holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University and an Associate of Science in Computer Information Systems from Mount Wachusett Community College. Her credentials include globally recognized certifications such as the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
