Laura Ilsley, CPA

Laura is a member of AAFCPAs’ Tax Practice with a dedicated focus on high-net-worth individuals and families. She provides tax planning and compliance solutions designed to help clients preserve and grow their wealth while navigating the complex considerations that often accompany significant assets.

She applies a consultative approach, advising clients on the tax implications of financial decisions and life events. Laura works collaboratively with AAFCPAs’ Tax Partners, wealth advisors, and consulting tax and estate attorneys to help maximize available credits and deductions, improve investment tax efficiency, and develop long-term, tax-smart financial strategies. Her work includes the use of trusts and other wealth preservation vehicles that help insulate assets and support evolving goals. Laura also has experience assisting expatriates and non-resident individuals with U.S. source income, adding depth to her knowledge of international tax matters.

Applying a consultative approach that prioritizes long-term planning, Laura advises clients on the tax implications of their financial decisions and life events.

Laura has extensive public accounting experience, having spent her career providing tax advice to individuals and small business owners. A world traveler and wife of a retired military member, she holds CPA licenses in California, Texas, and New Hampshire. She holds a BBA with a concentration in accounting from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, graduating summa cum laude. She is fluent in both English and Italian.
