Andrea Crowell

Andrea brings a wealth of experience to AAFCPAs’ Outsourced Accounting & Fractional CFO (OAFC) practice, where she provides reliable finance and accounting support to nonprofit organizations.

Andrea partners with clients to futureproof their finance functions by modernizing financial processes and strengthening infrastructure, helping organizations adapt to evolving needs and meet strategic goals. With a focus on efficiency, strong internal controls, and accurate financial reporting, she offers guidance on the setup, migration, and integration of cloud-based accounting systems including leading solutions like QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and Intacct.

As a key partner in clients’ finance functions, Andrea ensures the precise and timely execution of critical accounting tasks. She oversees essential activities such as accounts payable and receivable, general ledger reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. Andrea also plays a pivotal role in grant tracking, revenue recognition, and departmental reporting, while managing annual budgeting and cash flow monitoring. Additionally, she reviews and approves monthly and annual financial reports, offering valuable insights to executive management and boards of directors to guide informed strategic decisions.

Prior to joining AAFCPAs, Andrea gained deep experience leading outsourced accounting teams serving sophisticated nonprofit organizations. This experience enables her to advise clients on implementing strong internal controls and improving operational efficiencies. A CPA candidate, Andrea holds an MBA in Accounting from Walsh College and a B.A. in Human Resource Management from Michigan State University. When she’s not navigating the complexities of financial strategies, Andrea can be found cheering on her two daughters at their various activities.
