AAFCPAs to Speak on Enhancing Audit Value at MassCPAs Nonprofit Infoshare
Boston, MA (July 30, 2025)—AAFCPAs, a preeminent 350+ employee CPA and consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Partner David Kelleher, CPA, CGMA has been invited to speak at the upcoming Nonprofit Infoshare, hosted by MassCPAs. The program includes a cybersecurity session, an industry update panel on enhancing audit value, and a discussion on navigating operational and financial uncertainty.
Kelleher will serve as a panelist during the Industry Update Panel, Beyond the Numbers: Enhancing Audit Value Through Insight and Innovation. The session will explore how nonprofit finance teams and auditors can work together to elevate the audit from a compliance exercise to a source of strategic insight. Panelists will discuss the use of benchmarking and key performance indicators (KPIs), ways to enhance financial statement presentation, and how to incorporate a management discussion and analysis (MD&A) section. The conversation will also address how audit outputs can support external evaluations, such as Charity Navigator ratings. Attendees will leave with practical ideas to help improve transparency, accountability, and decision-making through the audit process.
The Nonprofit Infoshare is designed for CPAs who advise or serve nonprofit organizations and offers a focused opportunity to stay current on issues shaping the sector. Attendees will gain timely insights, hear practical examples, and exchange best practices with peers—all while earning 3.0 CPE credits.
