Kevin Hodson Earns Chartered Market Technician (CMT®) Designation
AAF Wealth Management is pleased to announce that Kevin P. Hodson, CMT, AIF®, Wealth Advisor, has earned the Chartered Market Technician (CMT®) credential, a designation for professional technical analysts awarded by the CMT Association.
Kevin has been awarded this preeminent, global designation in recognition of his mastery of a core body of knowledge of investment risk in portfolio management settings.
“I have always had an interest in market behavior, the gap between intrinsic value and market price, behavioral finance, quantitative systems design and risk management,” said Hodson. “Earning the CMT designation—the gold standard in the technical analysis field—has been an interesting, challenging, and rewarding experience!”
As a key member of AAF Wealth Management, Kevin researches and analyzes a variety of investments based on their market price and intrinsic value. He looks for patterns in stock prices, reviews historical outlooks and identifies indicators of market psychology or behavioral trading to make predictions about the future performance of a stock or industry.
