TaxCaddy is a secure application that will allow you to easily collect, store, and retrieve your tax documents. AAFCPAs successfully introduced TaxCaddy for the 2018 tax return filing season and our early adopters appreciate how the tool makes it easy to organize and fulfill document requests.
TaxCaddy makes gathering tax documents and sharing them with your AAFCPAs tax professional a breeze. Let TaxCaddy retrieve your 1099s, 1098s and W-2s automatically. Upload or snap photos of your tax documents year-round and store them with bank vault security. Electronically sign your tax documents from anywhere. No unnecessary office visits. No more paper organizers. Now with the interface of SafeSend Returns™ and TaxCaddy for estimated payment reminders, there are even more features to benefit from.

TaxCaddy is available for individual (1040) taxpayers.
TaxCaddy Action Items
- If you do not yet have access to TaxCaddy and would like to take advantage of this tool for the 2019 tax return filing season, please contact Marykate O’Toole at 774.512.4108 or email@example.com. You will then receive an email from: NoReply@nulltaxcaddy.com with the subject: AAFCPAs invited you to create a TaxCaddy account.
AAFCPAs continues to move from a paper tax package delivery process to a more automated and efficient electronic delivery process. In addition to secure email, portal, and e-Sign applications, we are now introducing SafeSend Returns™, which will deliver and present your tax package in an electronic, intuitive, logical, step-by-step process. It will feel as if we are there, holding your hand the whole way while deftly affording you the ability to complete everything on any device, from anywhere in the world.
When your return is assembled through SafeSend Returns™, all return payments due, refunds to be received, and estimated payments will be summarized for you. If you also utilize TaxCaddy for your individual tax return, the estimates will populate in TaxCaddy and send you convenient reminders when they are due.
Who does this apply to?
AAFCPAs will utilize SafeSend Returns™ for electronic delivery and e-file authorization form signing of tax returns for all individual, trust, corporate and partnership filers, with the exception of nonprofits.
SafeSend Return Action Items
- In order to ensure you have no delays or issues receiving and/or electronically signing tax returns and documents, Individual (1040) Taxpayers are asked to submit unique emails for both taxpayer and spouse by November 22, 2019. Please email your preferred email addresses for both taxpayer and spouse to firstname.lastname@example.org with “Tax2019” in the subject. You will then receive an email from: “AAFCPAs” email@example.com with the subject: [Tax Payer / Client Name] Please review your tax documents and sign your e-file forms.
- Flow-through Entities (S Corporations and Partnerships) now have the ability to expedite your K-1 delivery process. You may now electronically send K-1 forms by entering in shareholder or partner email addresses into SafeSend Returns.
SignatureFlow is complementary to SafeSend Returns™ and allows AAFCPAs’ clients to easily sign documents from anywhere, anytime via an internet accessible PC or mobile device.
Who does this apply to?
All clients may use SignatureFlow to sign Engagement Letters and other PDF documents.
You will receive an email from: firstname.lastname@example.org notifying you your documents are ready for eSignature.
Billing Process Change
In an effort to simplify the billing process, AAFCPAs will send an invoice in January that will reflect 50% of our quoted or estimated fees. This invoice is payable upon signing and returning your engagement letter. The balance will be invoiced when your return is extended or completed, whichever is earlier.
Online Payment Options
AAFCPAs now offers three quick, easy, and secure online payment options available for your convenience. Visit https://www.aafcpa.com/client-portal/ to access our Electronic Funds Transfer, Credit Card, or Payment Plan options.
