Hannah Yarbrough, MBA
Senior Accountant
Hannah is an experienced in-charge accountant specializing in leading financial statement audits for Community Development Corporations (CDCs) and affordable housing organizations. She works closely with clients to ensure compliance with audit requirements for both parent entities and individual housing projects including those structured as limited partnerships (LPs). Her experience includes audits of Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency (MHFA) submissions, tenant eligibility testing, and financial reporting for affordable housing developments.
Hannah has experience with Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations and has contributed to audits involving Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) filings.
Her background includes extensive experience in public accounting and serving on internal finance teams, giving her a well-rounded perspective on financial operations in the nonprofit and affordable housing sectors.
Hannah holds an MBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University and a BBA in Accounting from Hardin-Simmons University. In addition, she is actively working toward CPA certification. Committed to community involvement, she regularly volunteers with Future Farmers of America (FFA), supporting student agricultural projects. When not auditing, she can often be found tending to her flock of sheep and rabbits, carefully breeding and raising them for FFA students preparing for shows.
