Kristin Fitzpatrick, SHRM-CP, PHR
Kristin is a leader in AAFCPAs’ Talent Management department with extensive expertise in HR management, including the administration of talent recruitment, employee benefits, compensation & payroll, employee relations & performance management, employee experience, and risk & compliance.
As a member of the leadership team, Kristin is highly collaborative and a keystone of strategic decision making as the firm continues to grow at an increased speed. She has a strong ability to build great relationships and demonstrate credibility to add value and be a catalyst for change which brings real and enduring business value. This includes insight on maintaining a progressive HR department with a focus on continuous improvement. Kristin commits to understand best practices and trends externally, including what these changes in the workforce landscape mean for AAFCPAs.
Kristin helps execute an organizational strategy to maintain an engaged workforce. This includes ensuring the firm remains on the competitive edge with its compensation and benefits packages, career development programs, social events, recognition, job enlargement/ enrichment, and workplace flexibility.
Kristin oversees the firm’s learning & development initiatives and employee performance management practices that meet the organization’s talent management and talent advancement needs. She is highly effective at performance coaching, including building trust among employees, tactfully defining issues, coaching for success, and creating a plan of action.
Prior to joining AAFCPAs, Kristin gained over 20+ years’ experience in Human Resource Management for multi-national corporations. She is a Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and a Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®). She has extensive experience implementing HR policies, supporting day-to-day HR functions, and serving as an HR point of contact for staff and stakeholders. Kristin helps drive a culture that values the unique contributions of all employees. She maintains HR initiatives, programs, and policies that support AAFCPAs’ philosophy toward diversity, equity, and inclusion and a people-first culture.
