Alvin Rasmus, MBA
Alvin is a seasoned CFO and senior member of AAFCPAs’ Managed Accounting Solutions (MAS) practice. He has extensive experience providing leadership, strategic vision, and sound operational support to growth-staged companies, including those in life sciences, technology, financial services, and cannabis.
Alvin’s expertise includes financial modeling, analysis & reporting, cross-functional team leadership, process improvement, enterprise risk management, technical accounting, SOX 404 implementation, transaction due diligence, strategic planning & execution, and change management. He has extensive experience working on both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, and integrations.
Alvin helps AAFCPAs’ clients achieve their long-term financial goals by examining their objectives, determining the resources necessary for the job, and organizing a plan of action to fulfill these aspirations. He serves as a true finance partner, helping CEOs, sales executives, and other program leaders understand which goals are realistic and pointing out major risks or benefits to each project.
Alvin is a Certified Public Accountant (license inactive) and a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. Prior to joining AAFCPAs, Alvin gained extensive experience leading finance functions for sophisticated, multi-national corporations. He has also work for small organizations implementing resource-appropriate processes & procedures that ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and internal control. He has been lauded as a high-capacity, driven leader capable of adding significant value to any organization.
