American Institute of Certified Public Accountants

AAF has been a long time member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA's). Governmental Audit Quality Center

As a member of the AICPA's Governmental Audit Quality Center (GAQC), AAF maintains the highest standards in performing quality governmental audits. The GAQC is a central resource center that enables member firms with a commitment to governmental audit quality access to best practice standards.

Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center

AAF audits over eighty employee benefit plans annually and is a member of the AICPA's Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center. We've been providing employee benefit plan audits to nonprofit and commercial companies for over twenty years. We are able to provide our clients with the most updated regulatory developments, as well as provide them with best practice techniques on audit, accounting, and regulatory issues. In addition, our tri-annual peer review includes a sampling of our work in employee benefit plan audits.

G400

Out of more than 40,000 CPAs across the country, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) honored AAF as a Group of 400 (G400) honoree - one of the 500 largest CPAs in the country.  While the AICPA works with the 100 largest CPA firms in the country, they also work closely with the next 400 largest CPA firms in the nation. Through AAF's G400 status, we can provide enhanced services to our clients through our increased communication and collaboration efforts within the accounting profession.

Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants

Actively involved in the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), several AAF professionals hold memberships and serve in high-level leadership positions. AAF's Co-Managing Partner, Carla McCall, currently serves on the Board of the MSCPA. AAF Vice President, Jack Finning, served as President of the MSCPA for many years. Our involvement with the society enables us to provide our clients with enhanced communication regarding legislation, industry standards, and regulatory matters.
