Announces New Shareholders

The shareholders of Alexander, Aronson, Finning & Co., P.C. (AAF) are pleased to announce the appointment of Jeffrey V. Cicolini, CPA, and John R. Buckley, CPA, as shareholders of the firm. Jeff and John joined AAF upon graduation from college. Within their new roles, Jeff and John are responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, overseeing the process and flow of the engagements, and coaching and monitoring AAF managers and staff.

  Jeffrey V. Cicolini, CPA, joined AAF in 1994 and provides accounting, tax and consulting services to both nonprofit and commercial organizations and companies. In the nonprofit area, he specializes in working with health and human service agencies, community development corporations and their related affordable housing properties, day care agencies, and membership organizations. Jeff is also experienced in providing federal and state audits to the firm's clients. In the for-profit area, he works with a variety of closely held businesses and specializes in working with software development, manufacturing and financial services corporations.

Jeff actively teaches trainings to our professional staff and clients throughout the year. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) and the Salem State College Alumni Association. He is a past member of the MSCPA's Real Estate Committee.

Jeff is an honors graduate of Salem State College, where he received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting with a minor in Economics. While at college, he received the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants Award for Academic Achievement and the Becker Review Scholarship.

John R. Buckley, CPA, joined AAF in 1994 and works extensively within the nonprofit sector and with closely held businesses. His nonprofit client base includes associations, educational institutions and human resource providers. He has extensive experience with federal, state and other regulatory compliance requirements for nonprofit organizations. John’s commercial client base includes manufacturing, service organizations and other small businesses.

John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA). He actively serves on the Nonprofit Accounting and Auditing Committee of the MSCPA. He previously served on the Board of Trustees of Worcester State College and on the Strategic Planning Committee of the South Shore Charter School .

John is a graduate of Worcester State College where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. John presents training sessions to the nonprofit community and also oversees many AAF in-house training seminars.
