We recently learned that non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) status are eligible to be a part of the Macy’s Shop for a Cause fundraiser. Last year, Macy’s raised over $9,500,000 for nonprofit organizations through this program alone.

Interested in how your firm can benefit? All non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) status will be given special shopping passes to sell for $5 each. Your organization keeps 100% of the proceeds. When your guests shop for a cause at Macy’s on September 20, 2008, they’ll receive great savings on almost all of their purchases. Also, customers will be eligible to win a $500 gift card, no purchase necessary.
